1. About these terms

These terms apply to all orders placed through laserladydesigns.uk. By placing an order you agree to them, so please read them before you buy. We may update them from time to time; the version on the site at the time of your order is the one that applies.

2. About us

Laser Lady Designs is a personalisation and laser-engraving business based in Limavady, Northern Ireland. You can reach us at laserladydesigns@hotmail.com.

3. Placing an order

When you place an order you'll receive an email confirming we've received it. This confirms receipt, not acceptance — a binding contract is formed once we accept your order and begin making it. We may decline an order (for example if an item is unavailable or there's an obvious pricing error), in which case we'll refund any payment in full.

4. Prices & payment

Prices are shown in pounds sterling (£) and include VAT where applicable. Delivery is calculated at checkout. Payment is taken securely at the time of order through Stripe; we don't store your card details. We try hard to keep prices accurate, but if a genuine error occurs we'll contact you before proceeding.

5. Personalised items — please check carefully

Because your items are personalised and made to order:

• You are responsible for the accuracy of any text, spelling, dates and photos you provide. We make items exactly as supplied, so please double-check before ordering.
• By uploading a photo or design, you confirm you have the right to use it and that it doesn't infringe anyone else's copyright or other rights.
• We may decline to produce content that is unlawful, offensive, or infringes third-party rights.
• Handmade items vary slightly — natural wood grain, colour and finish may differ a little from photos. This is part of their charm, not a fault.

6. Delivery

We aim to dispatch within the timescales on our Delivery page. Delivery times once posted are handled by Royal Mail and outside our direct control. Risk in the goods passes to you on delivery.

7. Cancellations, returns & faults

Your rights, including the limited cancellation rights for personalised goods, are set out on our Returns & Refunds page, which forms part of these terms. In short: personalised items can't usually be returned unless faulty, but we'll always put right anything that's damaged, faulty or not as ordered.

8. Our liability

We take great care with every order. Our liability for any order is limited to the value of that order. Nothing in these terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer, or our liability for anything that can't be excluded by law.

9. Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of Northern Ireland, and any disputes will be subject to the courts of Northern Ireland. Your statutory consumer rights are unaffected.
